Combine this with PDF.Live\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pdf.live\/convert-pdf-into-editable-pdf\">PDF conversion and editing tools<\/a> and you\u2019ve got a one-stop shop for editing and sharing PDF files.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your fax recipient won\u2019t notice any difference with your document when you fax online!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this guide, we\u2019ll walk you through online faxing with PDF.Live. This includes what you need to get started and how to use our online faxing. It works entirely through your web browser, so no software, apps, or downloads are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Prepare Your Document<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before you fax, ensure that the document you want to transmit is a PDF. PDF.Live works only with PDFs, so you\u2019ll need to convert it with: <a href=\"https:\/\/pdf.live\/convert-to-pdf\/word\">Word to PDF<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pdf.live\/convert-to-pdf\/excel\">Excel to PDF<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/pdf.live\/convert-to-pdf\/powerpoint\">PowerPoint to PDF<\/a>. This streamlines your workflow, as you can make simple edits, sign, or split the pages of a PDF using the PDF.Live studio and then fax the new document you\u2019ve created.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are a few additional tips for faxing documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be aware of how many pages are in your document. More pages take longer to fax and use up more fax page credits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To speed up transmission time, reduce the number of pages if possible, or <a href=\"https:\/\/pdf.live\/resources\/working-with-pdfs\/add-remove-images\/\">remove images<\/a>, as pictures use more data and will increase fax transmission time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure you have your recipient\u2019s fax number, and not their telephone number. Both are the same format (555) 555-0123. Digital fax services transmit documents to analog fax machines and vice-versa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Create an Account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Create a PDF.Live account or log in to your existing PDF.Live account to fax. Faxing can be slow, especially if you have a lot of images or pages in your document.
